AGEF Scholarship Application

Carefully follow all directions below.

If you are a high school senior, college freshman, sophomore or a junior seeking a bachelor’s degree complete this application.

All communication from AGEF will be done via email.  If you have a change in your email address notify Jessica Brown by email, jbrown@alabamagrocers.org.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIVING ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION IS FEBRUARY 15, 2022.

  1. Complete the application below.
  2. High School Transcript (including ACT/SAT scores): High school information is required for all applicants regardless of the applicant’s year in college. Click Here for the High School Transcript Form.
  3. College Transcript(s): request an official transcript from the college you are attending and any colleges you have attended in the past.  NOTE: A grade report printed from the internet is NOT an official transcript.
  4. Applicant must attend college as a full-time student in the fall.
  5. Applicant is responsible for making sure all required documents reach AGEF.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  6. All required documents must be received by February 15, 2022.

All documents mailed or emailed to the AGEF office MUST contain the students name and last four digits of their social security number on each page.

AGEF Scholarship Application

  • AGEF offers 2 different types of scholarships. Parent Scholarships and Student Scholarships. If you are applying for a Parent Scholarship, the Parent or Guardian must have been employed full time with an AGA Company for at least 1 year as of January 1, 2022. If you are applying for a Student Scholarship, you must of been employed with the AGA Company for at least 6 months with an AGA Company as of January 1, 2022. Please utilize the following fields to indicate which scholarship you are applying for.
  • The following information is related specifically about your time in high school.
  • Describe how you are involved in high school activities such as class or school offices, band or orchestra, athletics, dramatics, debate or oratory, school publications, pep club etc.
  • Describe how you are involved in out of school activities such as rank attained as a Boy or Girl Scout, 4-H Club Work, church organization, etc.
  • List all colleges and universities you have attended and dates beginning with the most recently attended.
  • Describe how you were involved in extra curricular activities in college.
  • Information about the College you plan on attending in the 2022/2023 academic year.
