What a wonderful day celebrating the grand opening of the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama’s new facility!

This new facility is so much more than a building. It represents greater capacity to store, prepare, and distribute food—and an even stronger ability to serve children, families, seniors, and neighbors facing hunger throughout Central Alabama.We were also proud to take part in the Publix Packing Event, where Publix demonstrated its incredible commitment to fighting hunger by presenting the Community Food Bank with a $550,000 check. What an extraordinary investment in our community!As we recognize this milestone during Hunger Action Month, we are reminded that the work continues.
