The Feeding Change Conference was held in Montgomery on November 6-7, 2024. The Summit was designed to create a collaborative environment where every stakeholder – form producers to consumers – can connect, share insights, and work together to drive meaningful change in Alabama. AGA President/CEO Ellie Taylor was proud to be a panelist on From Field to Fork: Strengthening Local Supply Chains. Other panelists included Beth Spratt, Alabama Department of Agriculture and Drs. Tyler Morgan and Tony Roath, Auburn University, Department of Supply Chain.

Congratulations to Shomari Figures on his win of the Alabama 2nd Congressional District race. Shomari is the son of current Alabama State Senator Vivian Davis Figures and was an aide in the Justice Department during the Biden and Obama administrations. Shomari is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the Alabama School of Law.
