Thank you for signing up to exhibit at the 2022 Alabama Grocers Association Convention, July 25-27, Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, Florida. Please take note of the following information.
- REGISTRATION/NAME BADGES – If you plan on registering for meal events at the convention, you must complete a registration form. If you are only working your booth and not attending the other functions, you will need to give us a list of individuals assisting you. You can email a list of people working your both to [email protected]. Please note that YOU MUST HAVE A NAME BADGE TO ENTER THE EXHIBIT HALL
- EXHIBITOR HOURS – Exhibitor set-up will be Monday, July 25th from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm and on Tuesday, July 26th from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. The exhibit hall will be open on Tuesday from 11:00pm to 12:00 noon to Retailers and Wholesalers decision makers only and then general admission will be from 12 noon to 2:00pm.
- HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS – The exhibit hall will be in the Magnolia Ballroom of the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort Baytowne Conference Center. This is Sandestin’s busiest time of year and the rooms are selling out FAST. Please do not hesitate and make your reservations ASAP. Once our block sells out we cannot guarantee our room rate nor availability. Hotel cut-off is June 24th. - DRESS CODE –The entire convention is business casual.

- Sandestin has continued to partner with VEAL Convention services for inbound & outbound shipments. Vendors can setup their account with VEAL and manage their inbound / outbound packages. Veal Convention Services (order online at https://veal.boomerecommerce.com)
- Furniture & Signage.
- Your booth comes with 2 chairs and an 8 foot table. If you need additional furniture or signage, you can go online to Veal Convention Services (order online at https://veal.boomerecommerce.com)
- Shipping Information
- SHIPPING ITEMS TO SANDESTIN®: VEAL Convention Services will receive all properly labeled freight and store until the designated setup day for your group’s show. Freight will not be released to vendors without a form of payment being on file directly to Veal Convention Services. The VEAL shipping warehouse at Sandestin is considered a “remote location” by major carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.). Items shipped overnight or priority overnight will arrive in Fort Walton Beach (20 miles to the west) by the guaranteed time and be placed on a truck for delivery to the resort. Sandestin® typically receives UPS and FedEx deliveries by 12:00 Noon. Vendors will be asked for tracking information when inquiring about their freight – Sandestin® and VEAL Convention Services utilize the same tracking information provided by the freight carrier to monitor and manage a shipment’s movement throughout the property.
- Without tracking information, vendors should expect delays in confirming the whereabouts of their shipments.
- VENDOR FREIGHT
You will notice on the forms that it says no outside food. That does not refer to our group. Sandestin is aware that we are a grocery group and will have food and beverages for our attendees. However, they have completely redone the entire Conference Center. If you will be preparing ANY food or have ANY open containers you will be required to purchase carpeting for your booth area.
